Benefits of Studying in Canada

• Work for up to 20 hours per week while in school/college/university, and on a full-time basis during breaks. (UPDATE) From December 2023 till April, 30th 2024, “certain” Canadian International Students who have off-campus permissions on their study permits will be able to work 40 hours off-campus. Limited to those who qualify!

• Obtain a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for the equivalent duration of the studies once the program is completed. PGWP also called an Open Work Permit allows an individual to work with any employer and anywhere in Canada.

• May be eligible to bring an accompanying spouse or common-law partner to Canada on an open work permit, allowing him/her to work for any employer.

• May be eligible to bring an accompanying minor child to study in Canada at the same rate that Canadians pay.

• Become eligible for Canadian permanent residence, either through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Quebec’s immigration system, or through the Express Entry immigration selection system.

COLLEGE CHANGE OR DLI CHANGE:

If a student in Canada wants to change college due to suspension from the current college or where PGWP is not available, we will help them get admission to a public college where they can get the required Canada PGWP. To get a DLI change (DLI Number / College Change), contact our office!

Students must know that they cannot stay in Canada if they don’t study or remain full-time in the course. Whether the institute is private or public, one must study all the time and should not work if they are not studying at the college.
